Teaching your dog to spin, walk backwards next to you, or drop into a down while you keep moving forward, are just naming a few of the fun and impressive behaviors that you can teach your dog in this class. With rally obedience, you will enhance your dog's training and have fun in the process. The goal of rally is to promote a positive relationship between the dog and the handler, and to encourage continued obedience. We offer all levels of APDT and AKC rally obedience, beginning through competition.

Dog agility is a great team sport for you and your dog! Dog agility training is fun and will help strengthen the trust between you and your dog. Dog agility is especially useful for establishing confidence in your dog.

This class prepares the handler and their dog for involvement in animal-assisted therapy programs. Most therapy dogs are personal pets that accompany their owners to various facilities such as hospitals, rehab centers or nursing homes. The skills taught in this class will include working around medical equipment, loud noises, food, toys and other distractions. The class will include a field trip to observe a therapy visit, a guest speaker from a health care profession, and information on local therapy locations. This class covers all the skills necessary to pass the Delta Society Pet Partners® evaluation, which will be offered at the end of the session.

Private dog behavior counseling sessions with an experienced dog trainer are available. Any dog of any age is a candidate for behavior modification. If your dog is exhibiting unwanted behaviors, then we can help!

Teach your dog to be a respected member of your community by training it to have good manners in your home, in public places, and in areas where there may be other dogs. Upon successful completion of this course and test, your dog will earn its official AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Certificate.
